In order to reduce tension your bed will be adjusted to flexed position on your waist which means you will be laying down flexed. Our patients are being mobilised with nurse assistance 4 hours after the surgery, after they have their first meal. You will be demonstrated about standing up position by a nurse. With the aim of keeping tension as low as possible on stitched area you will be bending over when you are standing up for 10-14 days after the surgery. Additionally we will provide you with postoperative pressure garments right after the surgery and ask you to use them for 4-6 weeks.

Every surgical intervention end up with variable extent of scar. Tummy tuck scar is located at the lower abdominal-bikini region. We recommend using anti-scar creams 3-4 weeks after the surgery. Scarring is usuallt pinkish or purplish in first few months, however usually gets its final format the end of 6-12 months which is less visible.
